Myanmar Support Appeal
Assalamualaikum and salutations to everyone
I’d like to thank you for taking your time to read this appeal.
As we all should be aware by now is the fact that our neighboring country Myanmar are going through hardship in this moment in time. People have lost homes and families separated caused by the cyclone. Food and water are also scarcely available. I appeal to everyone reading this and on behalf of greater good in us that we help these people who are really in dire need.
We encourage you to approach Oxfam NZ or Unicef directly for personal donations . Otherwise, if you do not own a credit card but would really like to submit your donations for this cause. We’ll be collecting donations from members, putting the donations together and send it to Oxfam by Saturday 17th that evening. If you do not have our bank account number. Please request our account number from umno.wellington@gmail.com and we will be in contact with you ASAP. We will forward the transfer confirmation details to the donators once the transaction to Oxfam has been made.
