Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Wathiqu Billah Al-Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Almarhum Al-Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah Al-Haj

WUC Committee Members 2009/2010

posted by Admin

Assalamualaikum and Selamat Sejahtera,

On Sunday the 17th of May 2009, the first meeting of the newly appointed WUC Committee Members of 2009/2010 was held in the Sirocco Apartment, the makeshift headquarters of WUC. The meeting started with a casual dinner, followed by brief introduction of WUC to committee members and a ‘brainstorming’ session. We ended the meeting with our favourite pastime – discussing the political state of Malaysia.

Prior to the meeting, the high committee members of WUC decided that we needed a change in getting the new committee for this year. Instead of the usual ways of voting, we decided that we wanted to personally approach and appoint them. This is done because we were seeking for a right balance in the committee, comprising of the highest capable juniors and seniors from different courses and social background. With this new method we are hoping that no groups of students would be overlooked and taken for granted. Related issues of Malaysian students can now be brought upon by each ‘representative’ to our attention.

I personally feel that the new committee members are a potential bunch to carry out the means of WUC. Kudos to the high committee members in identifying them, now I am ever confident that we could reach out to all Malaysian students and present them a good solid experience with WUC, InsyaAllah. I have the best hope for a successful year.

Warm regards,

Ahmal Reeza Abu Bakar,

President
